Clarence E. Lightner Youth Leadership Academy

The mission of this Knightdale, North Carolina-based academy is to teach 11-18-year-olds to learn, lift and lead through active participation in leadership training, community service projects, and youth philanthropic initiatives. In November, 2009, students sponsored a unique half-day event called Hip – Hop Chess: Making the Right Moves!
