VANCOUVER, BC- At the York House School, each girl is encouraged to pursue her personal and academic excellence, to respect and appreciate individual differences, and to develop a sense of responsibility to the global community.  Director of Global Programs and Service-Learning,  Lynne Stanger, is sharing The Art of Learning with staff at the Junior School, Senior School, and Early Childhood Centre in the form of a Book Club.  Her objective is to expose these educators to The Art of Learning concepts and, through discussion, determine ways to integrate them into the classroom.  “We hope to use the book to facilitate discussion amongst our students about the value of learning,” she says. Those participating in the book study group are setting up a page on the school website so they can share classroom resources that are developed for teaching the content.
